"Now Act Like You Want To Be Here And Say It With A Smile"

Said on set. Repeatedly.

I help brands show up as humans instead of corporate robots - whether that means producing the content, teaching them how, or just reminding them to relax and be themselves.

How I Got Here

I'm Harrison. I've been producing video, photography, and podcasts for over 10 years. And I've learned one thing: the brands that actually connect with people are the ones willing to show up as people.

Not perfect. Not corporate. Just real.

Ten years in this industry and I've worked with everyone from small businesses to 90-year-old heritage brands. And the pattern is always the same:

The brands struggling? They're paralysed by "brand guidelines" and terrified of perception. They hide behind corporate speak. They chase trends they don't understand. They pump out AI-generated content that looks fine but says nothing.

The brands winning? They put real people on camera. They talk like humans. They're willing to be vulnerable, admit mistakes, try new things. They understand their job is to be a source of truth, not just look polished.

I got tired of watching brands hamstring themselves with overthinking. So now I help them cut through the bullshit and just be people.

My Philosophy on AI (Since Everyone's Asking)

Look, AI is incredible for certain things. Summaries. Admin. Script drafts. I use it in my workflow all the time

(Full disclosure: I used AI to help write this copy you're reading. But notice - it sounds like me talking, not like a robot. That's because I started with my actual thoughts in my actual voice, then used AI to help organise it. A tool, not a replacement. That's the difference.)

But here's what AI can't do: tell YOUR story in YOUR voice with YOUR face.

I see these LinkedIn posts like "I generated this video in 2 minutes and saved $50,000!" And yeah, cool. But the content still looks like shit. It's soulless. It's the same as everyone else's AI-generated slop.

Your brand message can't come from a robot. It needs to come from a real person with real expertise and real stories. Otherwise, why should anyone trust you?

The more AI floods the internet, the more valuable real humans become. That's not going away.

How I Work

I'm really good at making people feel natural on camera - even people who've never done it before. That's partly interview skills, partly editing, partly just being stubborn enough to keep going until we get what we need.

I can tell when someone slips into "corporate mode" or starts selling instead of talking. So I push people back: "Stop trying to sell to me. Just talk to me like a human."

The production style? Doesn't matter. iPhone raw or cinema-camera polished - both work. What matters is having a real person saying real things in a way that sounds like how they'd actually say it.

Sometimes that means filming for an hour to get three minutes of gold. Sometimes it means throwing out the script and just having a conversation. Whatever gets us to authentic.

Let's Work Together

I work with brands on production retainers, one-off projects, or consulting to get you set up to do this yourself.

If you're ready to stop sounding like a corporate press release and start being humans with something worth saying, let's talk.
