The Taka Boys: Live Performance Photography

Live performance photography for The Taka Boys, captured on stage at the Derbyshire Sausage & Cider Festival. The brief was to document the band’s set with a focus on energy, crowd interaction, and candid performance moments, creating a bank of promotional images suitable for social media, posters, and future bookings.

I shot the performance unobtrusively from both front-of-stage and side-stage positions, prioritising natural moments over posed shots. The aim was to reflect the atmosphere of a live festival setting — movement, expressions, and connection with the audience — while still delivering clean, usable imagery for marketing purposes.

The final images give the band a versatile set of assets that communicate the feel of their live shows and their on-stage presence in a real-world setting.
